I just wanted to make a quick post about how you can get a free 3-month trial of Amazon Prime (courtesy of slickdeals.net and my friend Doug).

What is Amazon Prime?

According to Amazon.com's FAQ, Amazon Prime members get "all-you-can-eat" free two-day shipping on their orders.  Typically, a yearly membership costs $79.  Depending on how much you order from Amazon, two-day shipping costs can add up quickly.  For example, if you purchase an Amazon Kindle, normal two-day shipping can add up to $12 to the cost of the item.  After a few orders, Amazon Prime pays for itself.
